all Python 3disfunction
dis.disco()
disassembly
An old short name for dis.disassemble(), kept for compatibility; it does exactly the same thing.
Syntax
dis.disco(code, lasti=-1, *, file=None)
It is the very same function object, not a wrapper: dis.disco is dis.disassemble is true. Python 3 documentation no longer mentions it, though the name is still in dis.__all__ — read it as disassemble() in old code and write the full name in new code: it is clearer and can be looked up.
Examples
import dis
print(dis.disco is dis.disassemble) # → True
print('disco' in dis.__all__) # → True
